Tarragona Double Completes Union Santa Fe Comeback

Union Santa Fe defeated Aldosivi 3-1 at Estadio Jose Maria Minella, overturning a half-time deficit with three second-half goals. Aldosivi led through Andrés Vombergar, but Lucas Menossi and Cristian Tarragona completed a decisive turnaround for the visitors.

Union’s comeback was supported by a clear advantage in possession and passing. The visitors held 65% of the ball, completed 360 passes at 85% accuracy and registered 13 shots, compared with Aldosivi’s 35% possession, 188 passes and 10 attempts.

The expected-goals figures also favored Union, 1.21 to 0.27, while the visitors had five shots on target against three. J. Pintado received a yellow card for Union before half-time, three Aldosivi players were cautioned after the interval, and J. Palacios was sent off in the 85th minute, though the dismissal came after Union had established its winning margin.
