Samuel Amo-Ameyaw inspires Strasbourg to a 6-2 win over Troyes

Strasbourg turned a 2-1 half-time lead into a 6-2 victory over Estac Troyes in Ligue 1, scoring four times after the break to claim a decisive win in Troyes on Sunday.

Troyes start brightly before Strasbourg take control

Estac Troyes made the quicker start and went ahead in the ninth minute. Anis Ouzenadji supplied the assist for Antoine Mille, whose finish gave the hosts an early advantage. Mille remained one of Troyes’ most influential players throughout the match, also recording three key passes and four tackles.

Strasbourg gradually turned the momentum around late in the first half. Gessime Yassine set up Jacobo Ortega for the equaliser in the 40th minute, and Diogo Sousa put the visitors in front just two minutes later. That sequence changed the shape of the contest, with Strasbourg taking a 2-1 lead into the interval.

Visitors pull away after the interval

Strasbourg extended their advantage in the 57th minute when Giovanni Reyna scored, assisted by Ortega. The visitors then made their attacking depth count after further substitutions. Samuel Amo-Ameyaw came on in the 63rd minute and scored twice, first in the 85th minute after a pass from Dario Essugo and again in the 88th.

Conrad Harder added a seventh goal of the match in the 90th minute, converting Diogo Sousa’s assist. Troyes responded almost immediately, with Jérémy Le Douaron scoring from Kandet Diawara’s assist, but the late goal only reduced the margin to four.
