Modica Inspires Gimnasia M. to 3-1 Victory

Gimnasia M. defeated Talleres Cordoba 3-1 at Victor Legrotaglie in Mendoza, making a decisive start to their Liga Profesional Argentina Clausura Round 5 match. Agustín Modica scored twice before Luciano Cingolani added a third, while Talleres’ late response from Santiago Fernandez was not enough to change the result.

Gimnasia M. Builds Early Two-Goal Lead

Gimnasia established control inside the opening 20 minutes. Modica converted a penalty in the ninth minute to put the hosts ahead, then doubled the advantage in the 20th minute with a normal goal assisted by T. O'Connor.
