Mirassol turn 1-0 deficit into 2-1 win over Coritiba

Mirassol defeated Coritiba 2-1 in Serie A’s 26th regular-season round on Sunday, overturning an early second-half deficit to claim the points. Pedro Rocha put Coritiba ahead in the 61st minute, but Gustavo Henric da Silva equalised three minutes later before Bruno Santos de Oliveira completed Mirassol’s comeback in the 84th minute.

Three goals in a decisive second half

The match was goalless until the opening goal arrived shortly after Coritiba made three changes between the 58th and 59th minutes. Pedro Rocha finished a move assisted by Fabinho to give the home side the lead, and his four shots on target underlined his attacking influence.
