Aleksey Miranchuk's 28th-minute goal lifts Atlanta at Portland

Atlanta strike first and hold on

Atlanta United FC defeated the Portland Timbers 1-0 at Providence Park on Sunday, September 20, with Aleksey Miranchuk scoring the only goal. The victory came in Major League Soccer Regular Season Round 26 and extended Atlanta’s advantage from the 28th minute through half-time and the final whistle.
