Bahia defeated Vitoria 2-0 at Estádio Manoel Barradas on Sunday, with Alejo Véliz and Jean Lucas scoring in the second half. The Serie A result moved Bahia to sixth place with 34 points from 23 matches, while Vitoria remained 12th on 29 points after the same number of games.

Bahia takes control after the interval
