27 Goals as Manchester City Stay Perfect and Coventry Shock Forest

Late goals shape the middle of the table

Fulham are 19th on two points, while the result left them level with Tottenham but ahead on goal difference. Everton collected a 1-0 win over Ipswich through Thierno Barry’s 11th-minute goal.

Title race and relegation picture

Manchester City lead the standings with 15 points from five wins and a goal difference of eight. Arsenal are second on 12 points despite the defeat, while Brighton’s victory moved them to within two points of second. Brentford, Leeds and Liverpool form a three-team group on nine points, keeping the race for the leading positions tightly packed after 27 goals across the round.

At the bottom, Coventry’s victory gave them a first win but did not lift them from 18th. Fulham and Tottenham remain on two points, with Tottenham’s minus-six goal difference leaving them last. The three bottom sides have each lost three matches, while the gap between the relegation places and the teams immediately above them remains narrow.
