Bahia take advantage in open first half

Bahia defeated RB Bragantino 3-2 in Serie A’s regular-season round 26 on Saturday, securing a match that finished level at 2-2 at half-time. The result leaves Bahia fifth with 40 points from 25 games, while RB Bragantino remain ninth with 35 points from 24 matches.

RB Bragantino made the quicker start and opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Lucas Henrique Barbosa finished a move assisted by Wallace Yan, giving the home side an early advantage. Bahia responded from the penalty spot in the 34th minute, with Luciano converting to make it 1-1.
