Minnesota United FC and Orlando City SC drew 3-3 at Allianz Field after a six-goal second half turned Orlando’s half-time lead into an open contest. D. Dike put Orlando ahead in the 28th minute, but Minnesota responded with three goals in four minutes before T. Spicer’s 90th-minute equaliser secured a point for the visitors.

Orlando lead before second-half surge

Orlando took control of the scoreline when Dike scored in the 28th minute, giving Oscar Pareja’s side a 1-0 advantage at half-time. Minnesota created more opportunities overall, but Orlando held the lead despite recording only six total shots before the match statistics were finalised.

A. Griezmann doubled Orlando’s advantage in the 64th minute, finishing a move assisted by J. Ellis. Griezmann was booked 10 minutes earlier, but his attacking contribution remained decisive. He finished as the match’s highest-rated player, receiving an 8.5 rating after scoring once, providing one assist, and producing two shots on target and two key passes.

Minnesota turn the match around

The match remained unsettled until the final minute of normal time. T. Spicer, introduced for Ellis in the 74th minute, scored in the 90th minute from a Griezmann assist to restore parity. Spicer needed only 22 minutes to make an impact, earning a 7.5 rating and registering one shot on target.

Statistics favour Minnesota’s chance creation

Both teams committed two yellow-card offences in total. Markanich and M. Boxall were booked for Minnesota, while Griezmann and M. Pasalic received Orlando’s cautions.
