Atletico-MG turn 15 shots into a 3-1 win

Atletico-MG defeated Fluminense 3-1 at MRV Arena in Belo Horizonte on Saturday, September 12, securing a Serie A victory in regular-season round 27. The result lifted Atletico-MG’s points total to 36 from 25 games and kept them eighth in the table. Fluminense remained fourth with 45 points from 26 matches.

Cuello leads decisive second-half spell

The match was goalless until the 61st minute, when Reinier Jesus Carvalho put Atletico-MG ahead with an assist from Tomás Cuello.
