Genoa's first point arrives after three straight defeats

Genoa drew 1-1 with Frosinone at Luigi Ferraris on Saturday, ending a run of three consecutive defeats. The point moves Genoa onto one point after four Serie A rounds, while Frosinone extend their tally from six to seven.

How it happened

Frosinone led after 14 minutes when Giorgi Kvernadze finished a move assisted by R. Schmid. Genoa missed a major chance before half-time as L. Colombo failed to convert a 45th-minute penalty. The hosts levelled five minutes after the restart through Johan Vásquez, with D. Sow providing the assist. His goal was supported by two shots on target and six key passes, the highest rating and key-pass total among the listed performers. Vásquez also made a decisive contribution for Genoa, scoring the equaliser and receiving a 7.5 rating after three tackles and one shot on target.
