Two early goals and four saves carry Espanyol past Osasuna

Fast start puts Espanyol in control

Raul Moro and Jonathan Dubasin then came on for Rubén García and Enrique Barja Alfonso in the 60th. Espanyol responded with Gabriel Moscardo for Marcos Fernández and Álex Calatrava Torrado for Tyrhys Dolan in the 66th minute.

Espanyol absorbed the pressure without conceding. Roger Hinojo’s 87th-minute yellow card was the final booking of the match, which ended without a red card. Roberto Fernández Jaén was the standout performer, earning an 8.8 rating after scoring twice and placing both of his shots on target. Omar El Hilali also stood out with an assist, one key pass and five tackles across 90 minutes.
